New fans, replacements, and fans where only a light used to hang, mounted on a box rated to hold them. Balanced so they don't wobble, wired so the light and fan work the way you want.
Installation only; you supply the fan. $277 for the first fan on an existing fan-rated box, about $180 for each additional fan on the same visit. A light-only box has to be replaced with a fan-rated one first; remotes and wall controls are extra.
If two or more of these describe your house, it is worth a free estimate. If none of them do, you probably do not need us yet — and we would rather tell you that now.
What is in the ceiling right now decides the price.
Existing fan-rated box and wiring. The quickest and lowest-cost job.
Light-only box replaced with one built to hold a moving fan, then the fan goes up.
New fan-rated box, power from a switch or circuit nearby, drywall patched.
Hardware that holds a moving fan for years, and controls that do what you expect.
Fan-rated already, light-only, or no box at all.
Each additional fan on the same visit costs less than the first.
Pull chains, a remote, or separate wall controls for fan and light.
Tall and sloped ceilings take longer downrods and more time.
A new switch leg or circuit is priced before we start.
Nobody else in this market publishes ranges, which is exactly why we do. You will get an exact number at the estimate — this is so you know whether to bother calling.
We price match a current written quote or receipt from another licensed contractor. Military, first responders and teachers get 5% off when they book — just say so, no coupon to find.
Have these ready and the visit goes faster.
Boxed and in the room they go in. The fan itself is not included in our price.
A fan, a light, or nothing.
Roughly, for the downrod.
Pull chain, remote or wall control.
Porch and lanai fans must be damp or wet rated.
Most people's worry is not the price, it is not knowing what is about to happen in their house. So here it is.
"Victor, my tech, was professional, efficient, pleasant and informative. … He went out of his way to do the job correctly."
"Keylin did his best to limit any interruptions to power - honestly was surprised at how little he needed to turn off the power."
"After getting the run around from other electricians I came across In Phase. Wish I found them first."
"Unlike some of their competitors, they don't try to up-sell products that aren't strictly necessary."
Restaurants, offices and rental properties, several fans in one visit, scheduled around your hours or tenants.
Replacing a fan or light on an existing circuit generally needs no permit. Running a new circuit or adding a new switch location can; we say which applies before we start and file it when it does.
It surfaces at resale, in an insurance claim, and in an inspection you did not schedule.
If a bid is dramatically under ours, ask whether the permit is included. Usually that is the difference.
Filed, scheduled, and met. Customers thank our office by name in reviews for exactly this.
No. Our price is the installation; you buy the fan you like and have it on site. The fan-rated box, remote or wall control are parts we supply and are priced on the estimate.
Usually, but the box has to be rated for a fan. Most light boxes are not, and a fan on the wrong box works loose over time. We swap it for a fan-rated brace box first.
We cut in a fan-rated box and run power from a nearby switch or circuit, then patch what we open. That is quoted at the estimate because access varies.
Yes, with two wires to a dual switch, a wall control or a remote. If there is only one switched wire, a remote is usually the cleanest answer.
Yes. We size the downrod and use a sloped-ceiling adapter where needed. Very tall ceilings may need a taller ladder or lift, which we price up front.
Yes. Use a damp- or wet-rated fan outdoors; indoor fans rust and fail quickly in Florida humidity.
Usually unbalanced blades, a loose bracket or a box not made for a fan. The box is the one that matters for safety.
Swapping a fan on an existing circuit generally does not. A new circuit or new switch leg can. We tell you which applies before we start.
One year on our parts and labor, plus the fan maker's warranty.
Free estimate. If you do not need the work, we will tell you — that is the whole reason people come back to us.
